Thank you to everyone who trusted Whatcom Excavation with their projects last year. We’re proud of the work we did together and ready to serve our community again this year. Let's go 2026!
At Whatcom Excavation, we don’t slow down when the weather changes. This time of year, our focus shifts to the projects that matter most to homeowners and property managers across Whatcom County.
Whether it’s a drainage issue that suddenly appears, an urgent trench for utility work, or preparing a site for a springtime build, we’re ready to help.
✅ Drainage problems caused by heavy rain
✅ Emergency utility trenching
✅ Driveway and road repair
✅ Demolition and site prep for upcoming construction
We know how stressful it can be when water shows up where it shouldn’t. Our team is here to help you get ahead of the problem before it gets worse.
If you need help, just reach out. We’re always happy to take a look and lend a hand.
We have had the pleasure of partnering with Signs Plus and the coordination between our teams has been nothing short of amazing. From planning to execution, it has been a seamless effort, and the results speak for themselves.
Strong partnerships like this help us keep projects moving forward smoothly and deliver high quality results for our clients. We are grateful for the collaboration and excited about what is ahead.
We recently partnered with Northwest Landscaping & Sprinkler and Gary's Plumbing on a project where a client’s sewer system needed attention.
Gary’s Plumbing was first on the scene and identified the problem.
Our crew stepped in to handle the sewer repair and get everything functioning properly again.
Once our work was complete, Northwest Landscaping and Sprinkler came in and transformed the space, restoring it with a beautiful finish.
This project is a great example of how local businesses working together can solve tough problems and leave a property better than before.

Whatcom Excavation wishes everyone a safe and meaningful Thanksgiving.
We are grateful for the clients who trust us, the partners who collaborate with us, and the crews who show up every day ready to build something different.
Thank you for allowing us to serve Whatcom County this year. We look forward to the work, growth, and opportunities ahead.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Whatcom Excavation.
We hopped on the ferry to Lummi Island this week to tackle a project, and the weather has been nothing short of perfect. Blue skies, ocean air, and a few solid days of work in one of the most beautiful spots around.
It is always a good day when we get to do what we love in places like this. If you have a project coming up on or off the island, we are happy to make the trip.
Let us know how we can help!

Nothing like a clean, solid retaining wall to kick off the start of summer!
We used Redi-Rock for this one — these walls aren’t just tough; they look great too. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your property, adding some curb appeal, or just making your yard more usable, we’d love to help.
Shoot us a message if you want to chat about a Redi-Rock wall for your place — summer’s right around the corner!

We had a client with several breaks in her water line and were able to get everything repaired and cleaned up right.
One of our crews took a little extra care since the digging had to happen on a neighbor's property. We made sure to treat the space with respect. We used plywood to pile dirt neatly and laid more down so we could carefully move our mini 008 excavator over without tearing anything up.
Just a logo? Nah… this is the face of dirt work done right.
From digging deep to leveling out the rough stuff, Whatcom Excavation is here to move mountains (or at least a few yards of gravel). Stick around — we've got big things coming.
Spring is officially showing off—check out this little bird hanging out on a branch.

Reach out anytime—let’s get your spring plans rolling!

In some cases, our projects involve repairing a homeowner’s damaged sewer line, which may necessitate accessing an easement driveway or alley that is overgrown and secured with gates. We are experienced in coordinating access, navigating permit requirements, and working within site constraints to ensure the necessary repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
Visit our website or send us a message on here if you ever have any questions in regard to your projects.

Here’s a cheerful post for that special moment!
Nothing warms our hearts more than seeing the next generation getting a head start! Yesterday, we’ve got our tiniest team member on site, filling in a CDL role with dad close by. At less than a year old, this little one is already showing us what hard work and dedication look like.
A big thanks to our team for keeping the family spirit alive in all we do. From the smallest to the tallest, every member is important at Whatcom Excavation. Here’s to future generations who might one day take the wheel for real! 💪❤️
